People who have good writing skills earn more money!

I’m one of those nerdy types who go ballistic when they see spelling mistakes in shops and on posters. I practically faint when someone writes “your” instead of “you’re” and I’ve been known to change the labels in the local supermarket when they say “salmon fillet’s” instead of “salmon fillets”. I know some people think it’s anal, but good grammar and spelling make a difference to understanding what’s trying to be said. And apparently getting things right earns you more money too. The people at Grammarly http://www.grammarly.com/grammarcheck conducted the following survey – the results are interesting.
